1. Amazon Sword

2. Java Fern

The Java Fern makes a great choice for those just starting out with plants in their aquariums. This type of plant is super easy to care for and readily available, it only requires low-to-medium light, and it adds a brilliant touch of green to a tank. Java Ferns typically don’t root into the gravel and prefer to be attached to rock or wood, which can easily be done with black thread or thin fishing line.
